The following is a reprint from last year ... because it's that time again
... it's no big deal if it's raining like crazy tonight (the remnants of Jeanne, the latest hurricane to tear up the east coast) and I can't see the Harvest Moon ... the full moon, like any cosmic occurence, has at least a 3-day sphere of influence. In plain English, that means that not only can we see the full moon for a day or so on either side of it's fullest point (because our naked eyes can't really tell the small difference a day makes either way) we can also feel it's influence in more subtle ways ...

And. I knew it was a full moon, in Aries, Tuesday and I lit a few enchanted candles to take advantage of it. But I did not realize it was the harvest moon.
And glad to hear the root canal went well. It's such a relief when it's over and there's no more pain!

Actually, the sky was clear for a time last night, and I did actually get to see and appreciate the moon's beauty.

yeah, this volcano stuff is not very fun - I still am surprised so many people are taking their families so close to it to see it when it erupts!
