    R.I.P.

    Christopher Reeve

Actor, director, activist, and a ”local hero” to those of us in the Princeton, NJ area.

A real inspiration and a genuinely nice guy.

You have gone on to a place where your broken body will no longer limit you.

Dance now in heaven, Mr. Reeve, you will always be “super” in our hearts.

  • I just read about that. SO sad. And from bedsores? I thought caregivers really stayed on top of that sort of thing. Wonder how it happened.

  • Sad loss.

  • I think he proved in real life that you don’t have to be from the planet Krypton to be a Superman.

  • This sucked so hard… I wish he’d have had the chance to live his dream to walk again.

  • amen…

  • oh shit hes dead? thats so sad!

  • I was so sad when I heard the news…I didn’t want to be the one to tell my mom. (She’s got an abnormal adrenal glad that makes her sick when she experiences strong emotions…another thing I inherited from her, but not as bad.)

He was such a good looking man! And a flirt! (If you saw him in interviews even after his accident.) It was that kind of spirit that I admired most about him…

I think I fell in love with him when I watched “Somewhere in Time”…*sigh*…He will always be Superman, to me.

Now that he’s free of this earthly realm, perhaps he can continue his work…

    I can hope.

    Peace and Love…GFW

  • he truly turned out to be a Super Man..no ? Amazing how we lock a person into an image and they magically fufill that part. Nice of you to remember him so well !!

  • It certainly is a loss. He put up such a strong and noble fight. I believed he would walk again some day. It is a shame to die for the reasons he did after everything he has been through. I’m sure god/ess had a good reason. One can only wonder or just believe.

  • he certainly was a bright light that blessed us with his grace. he’s back home now and riding those horses that he loved so dearly.

  • I was surprised & saddened when I heard the news.
This was an excellent tribute to a heroic man.
