  • **edited 3/23 -- Thanks Wardoe, for slowing down the frantic Robins!

    Happy Spring!

The vernal equinox has come and gone, so it's official. The weather is getting warmer, the days are getting longer, and there are sunshiny yellow crocuses blooming in my backyard outside my bedroom window. The daffodils have been in bloom on the other side of the house for about a week, and there are little green sprouts coming up all over the front yard. Soon it will be time for me to start spending my days outdoors, working on the house and the landscaping projects. I really have to pace myself this time, and try not to hurt anything.

Like that's really going to happen.

Guess I had just better stock up on muscle-relief bath salts, ibuprofen and liniment!

(sorry, Rem, I don't know how to slow those birds down, hope they don't make you dizzy!)

    heeheehee! all fixed now!

  • LOL, those birds really are quick! I am so happy that spring is here--I have been really looking forward to it this year. I need the sunshine!!

  • :) )
They seem to be in a very frantic mood... Getting all worked up for the mating season!...

Had my first ride on the rollerblades this afternoon (splendid spring weather!) - wasn't as hard as I'd feared, but I have to get in form yet.
Tomorrow there's a press screening of a movie in a theater next to a park, and I think I'll take the 'blades with me...

  • Whoohey! Non-frantic Robins! :)

  • We haven't quite gotten our spring yet, tho it is a cali spring.  When the rain comes it gets cold again, craziness.  I'm so looking for ward to the warm! :)   And though I don't have a yard, my flowers on my porch are starting to sprout again.  I love the rebirth of color:)

  • I can't wait to see more pictures this spring and summer of all of your hard work coming to life!

  • Glad to see your site! Lovely as usual. It's spring here, sort of. I saw a red-headed finch yesterday on my patio and was quite thrilled! I have lots of green popping up and things are starting to bud. A few more weeks .... As Anam said so well, "I love the rebirth of color".
