Time for more pictures!
The headboard I designed and built, and the $11 bargain shelf I bought yesterday (repaired and painted)
Both have wet paint in these pictures. I still have more painting to do on them, a fancy finish (experimental, you will just have to see it when it is done)
(left) fabric for upholstery on rocking chair and vanity seat (right) window stuff – fabric for window scarves, decorative curtain rods, and some beautiful tassel tiebacks (not necessarily going on windows, still haven’t decided)
The tassels were a real bargain from a clearance rack for $5.50 each!
moving stuff into the room…
The bed wasn’t delivered today. It is now scheduled for delivery tomorrow.
Ceiling fans are being installed tomorrow too. And I have plenty to do myself before I am finished with this room.
This time it was Dolly, not Pearl, getting into the picture. She is walking across where the bed will be going.
today I realized:
1. I am tired of blue paint
2. I am tired of cleaning paint tools
3. I am just plain tired
4. I want, no, need a dishwasher
5. I think our television is dying of old age

That room is looking great!!! And I love the upholstery fabric!
I can’t wait to see the finished product(s)! Everything looks terrific! I am trying to buy a mobile home…nee to have the wood stove inspected, before I can insure it…I hope I can do with my place, what you have done with yours. If not, I hope to get results 1/4 as good!
