Bernie just took this picture for you a few minutes ago –
The New Hairdo
with Pearl and Dolly on the patio
I was squinting a bit with the sun in my eyes, and a stray strand of hair blew into my mouth, but at least you can see how much shorter it is.
The color differences are not quite this radical from light to dark as they appear in this photo, there was a bit of a shadow coming from over the left side of my face. But the ends are definitely auburn and the rest is definitely naturally frosted salt-and-pepper ash. (sounds better than plain old grey, huh?)
I told you it really was no big deal. It is a lot shorter and feels really different, but it just went from straight flat and long to straight flat and shorter, that’s all.
Oh, and BTW, in case you can’t tell, I really don’t like having my picture taken. I don’t photograph very well. This was the best of about 1/2 dozen shots Bernie took tonight.

Photo ain’t bad either (heh – Pom-poms to lure attention away from yourself?). And one thing that’s noticeable is a lot of weight loss. If I may say so.
As for what I know that you don’t know –
There’s a lot of homilies still in my head (and one day I might change the ZEN button into a REM button)… But it’s also my ‘creep’ laugh – I’ll post some of the songs that belong with it some day.

I like the shorter do – suits your face. The colour (silvery grey) looks good too! You look very fair so the lighter colour is very flattering.
Personally, I think grey / silver / white hair is beautiful!

Love the hair! I miss having my hair highlighted, I almost bought the do it at home kit yesterday, but I chickened out. If I would have come out like a zebra, I wldn’t have been able to go to work today! lol.

I love it! Yours is about the same length as mine now. However, the cut was more traumatic for the hairdresser than it was for me. The silver ash suits you well – and the dogs are sweet, too.

Your hair isn’t really what *I’d* call short, but it IS a big difference for you.You can tell you lost weight in that photo too. I like your color description, how amusing.
